4 Visual Memory Verses for Troubled Times

It goes without saying that people today are living in troubled times. As the people of God, we need to turn our eyes to the only one who can take away fear, feelings of isolation, restlessness and despair.

I’ve definitely struggled to keep my focus on the truth of God’s word and what He has done for me. The day-to-day of taking care of my toddler, going grocery shopping equipped with face masks and hand sanitizer, and trying to keep up with the news while not being totally overwhelmed by seeing riots, angry people, and angsty web posts about how different countries are grappling with everything.

But the Lord gives us a weapon that cuts through the fog of our hearts and current global situation: His Word. If we don’t equip ourselves with it, it’ll be too far away to grab quickly when we suddenly find ourselves in the middle of an internal emotional battle or tense conversation.
