Here's a new visual of the classic hymn "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus" by Helen Howarth Lemmel. It was inspired by a tract entitled "Focused," written by the missionary Isabella Lilias Trotter. We love it because it is easy to sing and learn!

It is complete and ready to print and immediately become a part of your family's spiritual practices by singing and memorization. The PDF includes a visual hymn usage guide, and two versions of the hymn - one with lyrics and one without!

Children as young as one-and-a-half can begin looking at these visuals to remind them of the lyrics. Even before they are literate, they can treasure the words of this beloved song as believers have done for the past 150 years.

It is designed for use at home with parents and children, but makes a great Sunday school resource for churches or Christian schools. (Also, visual adults may find it helpful!)

Here's some tips on how to help little ones learn it: Say "Look at this picture: this little guy sad in the dark, trapped with chains. He is bent from weariness and feels troubled. So when we see these pictures, we will sing these words: 'O Soul are your weary and troubled? No light...."

Learn just one verse at a time. Cut apart the hymn so they can just focus on a few images at a time.
